This lollipop top wall box is a reproduction of a wall box featured in the book The Pine Furniture of Early New England. It’s a simple box handmade from solid pine joined with traditional square nails. This box was probably used to hold candles originally but also might have held any smaller household materials of the time. Today the box is probably most useful as a decorative object but can still be used to hold candles or keys or anything else you can come up with. This one is shown in pumpkin over black milk paint with medium distressing.
