Four Drawer Dresser
This four drawer dresser is based on an old New England dresser from the early 1700s found in Russell Kettle’s book Pine Furniture of Early New England. It features bold and tall bun feet, brass drop pulls, a drawer lock on the top drawer, and double arched molding around the drawers, something that was very common in that era on case furniture. It is completely handmade from solid pine using the traditional tools and techniques proper to the time that this dresser would have been made. All of the wood is hand planed giving the surface an authentic historical texture. This one is shown in brown milk paint with medium distressing.
