The Kent Cupboard
This is our Kent Cupboard. It is a reproduction of one of the iconic pieces of furniture featured in Wallace Nutting’s famous book Furniture Treasury, number 549. It is one of our favorite pieces. As far as American country furniture goes, in our opinion, it doesn’t get much better than this. This pewter cupboard shows a very nice balance between the refinement of the scrolls and molding on the top half and the simplicity of the slab door on the bottom half along with the plain molding at the bottom. This one is shown with H hinges in red over black milk paint and medium distressing.
Your choice of color and level of distressing. Add $30.00 for H hinges.
