This lollipop top wall box is a reproduction of one featured in the book The Pine Furniture of Early New England. The box is made by hand using solid pine with traditional tools and methods. It was probably used to hold candles originally. It also might have held any smaller household materials of the time. Today it makes a great decorative piece or to store small items out of sight. This one is shown in pumpkin over black milk paint with medium distressing.
