We started this business over 30 years ago in an old farmhouse located in Pawling, NY. After a few years, we moved the shop to South Kent, CT where we stayed for over 15 years. It was a wonderful experience to spend everyday surrounded by the beautiful furniture and American country decor that filled my shop, and I made many wonderful friends over the years. I decided in 2005 that it was time to semi-retire (translation…spend more time with my grandchildren), but I didn’t want to get out of the business completely. So we created our online shop offering the best of the primitive rustic country furniture and decor that we had offered in our shop over the years.
